How can I get from the airport to the hotel?
Most of the hotels are within 5 km. distance from Tribhuvan
International Airport; taxi cabs are available to reach to your hotel,
just tell them the hotel name.

Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person at any time.
Requests must be made in writing and may be emailed or faxed to

Admittance to the Exhibit Hall is part of your paid registration
package. It is not open for the general public.

Yes, there is an Early Bird registration discount till June 30, 2004,
and every fourth participant gets a registration only discount from the
same organization/institution.

May I register at the conference in Kathmandu?
Attendees may register onsite for a fee of $ 250-400 per person
depending on the origin of the country.

Can I bring a guest to the special events?
Yes, guest can come but are charged the normal rate and have to go
through the registration process. However, spouse(s) are admitted under
spouse rate and passes are issued for the social events and they are not
admitted to the conference itself.

How do I make my hotel reservation for the conference?
You will need to complete and return the Hotel Reservations Form for
your preferred hotel. All accommodation bookings for the Conference
Hotels must be made using the official Hotel Reservations Form and faxed
directly to SEEP.

Where are the hotels in relation to the Conference Center?
The Conference Center is located within 5-10 minutes walking distance of
the hotels listed in the website.

What should I wear during the conference?
Because Conference is set in a relaxed atmosphere and environment, the
dress code is smart or business casual.

Do I need to stay at the conference hotels?
Not necessarily but we would prefer you do if at all possible. The hotel
conference contract, like all conference contracts, is tied to
"room-nights."

Is there going to be a cheaper hotel available?
Yes, most of the conference hotels are cheaper by any international
standards. However, we recognize the need for a low cost alternative
hotel.
